The 37^th International Conference on Computers and Industrial Engineering is organized to disseminate recent theoretical and methodological developments, significant technical applications, case studies and survey results in the area of Computers, Industrial Engineering/Management and other related areas.

Held on the land of the Pharaohs, where the past meets the present and aims for the future, the 37^th conference on Computers and Industrial Engineering, will take place in Alexandria, Egypt, from October 20 - 23, 2007. It will provide a very good opportunity for researchers and professionals of industrial engineering to exchange their ideas, gain insight from industry leaders, and of course enjoy the charm of the Egyptian history and Egypt's magnificent attractions.

All abstracts and final papers will be published in the conference proceedings in CD format. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their work for review and potential publications in a special issue of Computers & Industrial Engineering: An International Journal.
